Heart failure clinic
Heart failure is a difficult to treat long term disease. Patients usually present with respiratory difficulty during walking, climbing stairs, easy fatigue, weakness, body swelling recurrent hospital admission with shortness of breath. We prescribe ECG echo sodium potassium urea creatine and escalate specific medicines for heart failure. Coronary angiography is a must to detect any blockages and we try to fix coronary lesions first to improve heart failure symptoms. Next steps are to escalate guideline directed medical therapy, then CRT / ICD in select patients to give some benefits. Annual vaccination protocol is a must to follow.
